Xposed Framework for Android Oreo is almost done!

Nope, it’s not dead – Xposed Framework by the popular developer rovo89 just got a new hype – in his last post rovo89 explained that the new Android 8 version will be supported soon – he specifically said it’s done to 95%. At the same time he also wrote that the last 5% could be difficult to complete because it costs time.

So the framework isn’t dead but there a lot of people ignoring the fact that this is basically a ‘one-man’ project, of course it’s open source but there not really much committer – in other words the project stands and go with rovo89.

Compared to the young project Magisk the framework is more popular and there exist in general more modules – however I’m happy at this point that the community and the developer trying to keep this project alive. It should be mentioned at the same time that OEMs trying to improve their ROM’s and it’s becoming more and more obsolete to install a custom rom – instead people now gonna installing ‘small’ mods like this to add the missing features.

The bad news is that the Android development is so fast that Android P is almost done – to be honest I would’t switch immediantly because the OEM’s might not rolling it out as soon Google officiales released it and the second reason is that it might take time to fix the bugs.

I want to say that I’m really helpful that projects like Magisk and Xposed exist and that we it’s so easy to use it, the Android community is just great!
