AMD Raven Ridge confirmed for March 2018

According to the japanese Website Hermitage Akihabara (translation) we see Raven Ridge march 2018 – so what’s the news here? Rumours said earlier we might see Raven Ridge already at the end of January 2018. The first ever rumours even said at the end of 2017, but now he have a confirmation and March 2018 seems more realistic.

The fun part is that you already can buy some exclusive devices from some exclusive OEM’s (HP, Dell) but AMD mentioned directly that there not many devices available – I already tried to order one of the CPU’s but I got a message back that’s not available until march.

Good news today, we got confirmation for two things, first I start with the AMD news. According to a new roadmap presented by AMD, the second-generation Ryzen will launch in late Q1 2018. The new series will be manufactured using a refined 12nm Zen+ fabrication node, which should further improve performance-to-Watt ratio and likely unlock higher clock speeds.
