Snapdragon 845 VR headset is able to use 120 FPS

And another news today from Qualcomm, their latest Snapdragon 845 VR package is able to show a resolution of 1024 x 1152 with incredible 120 FPS (per eye/display), which would be more than enough for really every game on the market right now in decent FPS without getting the motion sickness on faster scenes eg. in roller coaster simulators. The HTC Vive Pro packs a higher-res 1400×1600 per eye display, but only at 90Hz, which means that Qualcomm is clearly the winner in the VR battle.

Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo

YES -Wireless upgrades! To be honest, whenever it’s possible I try to use cables, call me oldschool but wireless overall getting better and better and I consider to call it ‘stable enough for the daily usage’. So, Qualcomm developed a new “True Wireless Stereo” Audio system which, when connected via Bluetooth gives you true Stereo Sound over your earbuds, this is what I wanted for so long and this is cool especially if want to do some sports.

EU slapped Qualcomm for Apple Collusion

The EU has slapped Qualcomm with a $1.2B fine for colluding with Apple in order to cut out chip competitors. The EU Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager said that Qualcomm paid “billions of dollars” to Apple. Some of this in the form of lowered prices and some through “rebates.” She claims to have documentation showing Apple considering Intel products, but not until the end of the “rebate” Qualcomm agreement. Sadly, there is documentation shared by Bloomberg.
