Intel Financial Result Q4/2017

Intel made 17 billion dollars in one quarter, that’s a new record even with the Spectre & Meltdown security breach and to be honest it’s a miracle for me. AMD won some ground but Intel is still ruling the entire market with 65% market shares.

NVIDIA: Financial Results for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2018

NVIDIA has just published their financials from fiscal 2018, and they are as you would expect and what a surprise nVidia had a record year with GAAP earnings up 41% (!) from last year, making their revenue $9.71 billion. 



AMD Q4 2017 and Full Year 2017 Financial Results

AMD’s Computing and Graphics revenue of $958 million came out above the FactSet consensus estimate of $878.7 million, while the company’s Enterprise, Embedded and Semi-Custom business segment of $522 million came in below the consensus estimate of $529.9 million, according to StreetAccount.

AMD stock is up nearly 26 percent since the beginning of the year. Financial reports looking really good and are over the expections.


The company said in a filing that it received a one-time tax credit of $18 million as a result of recently passed U.S. tax reform. Some other companies have had to pay one-time charges because of the tax changes. AMD expects a 10 percent tax rate on pre-tax income for all of 2018.
