WHDownload was once one of my favorite Windows & Office Download utility back in the day, until the developer Alphawaves decided to stop the project due time and other reasons. Now the downloader utility is finally back with a new fresh look which makes it very easy for everyone to download Windows and Office specific updates without Windows Update Servers.

Microsoft today released a bunch of new updates – for all Windows Builds. The March 2018 Patchday is as expected and there this time no surprises. As always you can download and install the latest updates manually via the MS update catalog or via WUS.

Microsoft released another KB, nope no Hotfix this time – KB4038188 is a .NET Framework preview for all who can’t wait to get the hands on the latest .NET version. The update is installable for Windows 7 up to Windows 10.

NoVirusThanks are the guys behind a lot of ‘neat’ products like MacAddress Changer, EXE Radar Pro and other products. Now, they released another product called ‘SysHardner‘ and we’re going to see if it’s worth our time or not and it it can compete against existent solutions.

Windows Media Player, well most of all users ignore it and installing VLC or MPC-HC – but Reddit user Noam_ha reports that Microsoft is now advising users to switch from the old and unloved Windows Media Player to the more modern Movies & TV app.

KB4090007 is an update which is optional and can be downloaded manually. The update is for Skylake H/S, Skylake U/Y & Skylake U23e for the 6. Generation. You find more details about it here, here or on my Blog, Microsoft itself hasn’t updated their own KB-Article page yet.
