Nvidia’s Turing based GTX 1180 Founders Edition set for July?

Ever since the GTX 1180 rumour mill whirred to life earlier this year and started churning through the daily grind of rumour and speculation, the release date for Nvidia’s Turing family has been in a constant state of flux. Originally, TweakTown reported that we’d have them by April (this year). Well, it’s the almost the end of May now and we’re no closer to seeing anything even vaguely Turing related, so that’s out. TeakTown later said their source wasn’t accurate and this can happen. Then we heard from Tom’s Hardware that Turing’s release had been delayed until mid-June before DigiTimes shot back about a week and a half later saying they’d been delayed again due to revised production schedules and that we now won’t see them until the autumn.

What is the best ASUS VPN Router Firmware – here is the answer!

I often get requests via EMail, sadly I can’t answer them all but I try to pick some interesting stuff which I can explain here in detail. In general, if you’re looking for a good and solid VPN router, you can’t go wrong with Asus because they offer a great lineup of VPN-ready routers – from cheap to very high-end prices.

Asus VPn Router
Asus RT-AC86U is one good pick.

1 Year later: Me vs. G.Skill and the reason I won’t support them anymore

G.Skill has some good hardware, without any doubt, the RAM they have to offer is same like their gaming mouse not that bad but what I have to say when it comes to the support is nothing but bad (for G.Skill). G.Skill reminds me a bit of the story I had with NZXT and their CAM software – read the full story here. Both are very similar the hardware is good but the software has some room for improvements, the worst part is that both including telemetry in their software and there is not much you can do about, blocking it with a firewall mostly doesn’t help or it breaks the login (CAM software can work without any login but it’s limited in function).

ASMedia-USB-3.x Controller with Keylogger and Malware Risks

The AMDFlaws.com story is over, it seems that it was a failed try to manipulate the stock market but besides this shameless try CTS-Labs still has some valid information to offer, and it shows that ASMedia-USB-3.x controller have several security flaws which allows attackers to abuse those controllers to deliver their keyloggers or malware code.
