Changelog

As always Microsoft doesn’t provide a changelog, the page is as empty as my bank account.

This update addresses an issue where the 2017 and 2018 versions of Intuit QuickBooks Desktop can’t run in multi-user mode on Windows 10, version 1803 devices. The QuickBooks multi-user mode service fails to start with error “Windows could not start the QuickBooksDBXX service on Local Computer.” and “Error 193: 0xc1”.

Ehm, okay. I need to Google “QuickBooks” now. “Okay Google” “Tell me why this gets an own update when there more serious things which need to be patched?”.

Download

You can get the update for all platforms, ARM64, x86 (are there still people using it?) and x64 versions from the update catalogue. The download is around 430 MB big, the ARM64 version is as always bigger, with 479 MB.

Microsoft also released a bunch of non-security Office Updates yesterday. Enjoy ’em boys!
