I have to admit Microsoft isn’t sleeping anymore and they really trying to listen to the community, as a result we just now got another update which solves AMD legacy card display problems on Windows.
Here is the changelog:
Multi-monitor display and display resolution are not working for some AMD legacy cards (for example, Radeon HD 2000, HD3000, and HD4000 series) that mistakenly receive driver 22.214.171.124.
This update will install a driver to restore multi-monitor display and resolution control capabilities.
The patch is available via Windows Update, and also as a direct download on Microsoft’s Update Catalog website. You can click on this link to open the update on Microsoft Update Catalog website. Download it by clicking on the download button next to the version of Windows 10 of the affected system, and download all files individually to the local system.
